Quality Manager | Zeeland, MI

Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Oversee all quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and non-conformance management.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
• Manage supplier quality performance through audits, evaluations, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure product compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor key quality metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems (or relevant industry standard)
• Strong proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis)
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop quality teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Lead Auditor certification for a relevant industry standard (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience integrating QMS with ERP systems.
