Manufacturing Process Operator — Mixing, Blending, Labeling

Chagrin Falls, OH | 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday (occasional overtime)

Role snapshot

Operate production equipment and associated processes—from raw material prep to final packaging—while meeting quality, safety, and throughput targets.

What you will handle

• Stage and prepare correct raw materials and packaging; document start/finish times and report any deviations.
• Run processing equipment by following approved process instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Track line conditions to sustain target run rates and troubleshoot variances.
• Complete initial testing; release compliant product to the next step.
• Confirm labels and packaging materials and apply labels according to company standards.
• Package finished products to H.B. Fuller quality standards.
• Adhere to Quality Standards, Operating Procedures, and EHS requirements at all times.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret work orders, production processes, safety rules, and quality procedures.
• Flexibility to work shift hours.
• 1+ year in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Basic English comprehension.

Physical demands and environment

• Extended standing; frequent walking, stair climbing, stretching, stooping, and bending.
• Lift up to 50 lbs routinely; up to 100 lbs with assistance on occasion.
• Exposure to typical chemical manufacturing conditions (temperature, dust, odors, noise).
