Position Title: Forklift Operator



Wage: $18.00/hour



Shift: 1st or 2nd



Hours: 5:00am - 2:30pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport and stack agricultural products within the warehouse and shipping areas
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures and safety standards
• Use scanning equipment or warehouse systems to ensure accurate product movement and inventory tracking
• Perform daily pre-operation safety inspections of forklifts and promptly report any issues or malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and product integrity
• Assist with inventory control by following established policies and procedures
• Protect product quality during handling, stacking, and transportation
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and maintain efficiency
• Follow all company safety and quality guidelines, including PPE and forklift operation standards
• Perform additional warehouse or logistics duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous forklift operation experience required; certification preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company and OSHA standards
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand and move for extended periods during shifts
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment handling agricultural products
