As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you will drive the outcome of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your knowledge of data center security designs, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain site efficiency. You will partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, and resource allocation. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more aboutbenefits at Google ( . **Responsibilities** + Oversee the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for a cross-functional technical infrastructure location. + Serve as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions. + Lead security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements. + Design cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture. + Conduct risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of IT structures.
