About the Role

The Systems Administrator supports RSI Security’s Technical Operations team by maintaining, hardening, and monitoring client on-premises and cloud server infrastructures. This role is responsible for Windows Server administration, virtualization platforms, hybrid identity, Microsoft 365 tenant operations (Commercial and GCC/GCC High), and end-to-end backup and disaster recovery. The administrator will ensure uptime, security compliance, data integrity, and exceptional service delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and secure Windows Server, virtualization, and core AD identity services
• Administer Microsoft 365 and enforce security controls (MFA, Conditional Access)
• Support GCC/GCC High environments and compliance requirements
• Perform tenant hardening, migrations, and mail cutovers
• Operate Datto backups and maintain strong DR/BCP readiness
• Lead P1 incidents with fast MTTR and follow change-management standards
• Communicate clearly during major incidents and document all technical actions
• Guide clients on modernization, cloud migration, and security improvements
• Support hardware refreshes, virtualization optimization, and DR enhancements
• Provide remote/onsite support and maintain runbooks, SOPs, IT Glue, and KBs
• Mentor junior technicians and keep documentation accurate and up to date

What You’ll Bring

• Microsoft certifications in Windows Server Hybrid Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Azure Administration, with baseline security knowledge (SC-900, Security+ or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High, Azure Government, and related compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR)
• Additional value-add certifications such as VMware VCP or Veeam/Datto
• Strong PowerShell and automation capability
• 3–7 years administering Windows Server, plus 3+ years supporting VMware/Hyper-V virtualization
• 2+ years managing Microsoft 365 environments
• Practical experience in regulated cloud environments and with server migrations, identity sync, and secure baseline implementation
