Senior Aviation Inspector

Position Overview

KEITH is hiring a Senior Aviation Inspector to join the construction management team on a $300M capital improvement project at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). This role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across building and aviation-related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee building construction within the aviation environment including terminal expansions, support facilities, and airside/landside structures.
• Perform inspections to verify compliance with contract documents, FAA standards, and airport authority requirements.
• Coordinate with airport operations to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing passenger and airline activities.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality of work, and adherence to approved materials and methods.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, deficiency notices, and project correspondence.
• Support testing, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Provide technical input on construction issues, potential conflicts, and schedule challenges.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in vertical construction inspection.
• Strong background in building systems, materials testing, and construction methods.
• Effective communicator with proven ability to work in secure, operational environments.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
