Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Covenant Children’s Hospital, the only licensed freestanding children’s hospital in West Texas and eastern New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care in our 16-bed emergency department, which includes 2 trauma bays.
• Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center with physician coverage adjusted seasonally based on patient volume (24-36 hours/day).
• Engage in teaching opportunities with Pediatric and Family Medicine residents.
• Collaborate in a supportive environment with dedicated OB ED and excellent subspecialty support.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient documentation and communication, with scribe coverage available for 12 hours per day.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Authorization to work in the U.S., including H1B visa sponsorship
