EMI is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Laborer to maintain the grounds of industrial, commercial or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields. Will occasionally make repairs to structures and equipment. Assistance with project clean-up and carting way of debris is also part of the Ground Maintenance Laborer’s day. The ideal Grounds Maintenance Laborer is experienced in all tools and equipment used in grounds keeping/landscaping and follows all health and safety standards.
$17.95 /hr. plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!
Cut grass, trim hedges and edge
Plant, prune and water grass, flowers, shrubs and trees
Repair and paint fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings
Clean grounds, comfort stations, offices, workshop areas, and parking lots
Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge of all trade tools and equipment
Perform complex and unusual tasks without supervision
Comply with rules and policies, working safely
Perform in a rapid and efficient manner under extreme conditions
