McKeenix is seeking a highly accurate and self-motivated Data Entry Typist to join our administrative operations team in a fully remote role. In this position, you will be responsible for typing, formatting, and processing critical information with speed and precision. The ideal candidate excels at independent work, thrives in a structured remote environment, and is committed to maintaining data accuracy across multiple digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
Type and input large volumes of text-based data into internal databases, forms, logs, and digital records.
Proofread documents to identify and correct typos, formatting errors, and inconsistencies prior to submission.
Maintain organized files and ensure all typed documentation is properly labeled, updated, and stored.
Process digital forms, handwritten submissions, transcripts, emails, and recorded notes with high accuracy.
Perform quality checks on text entries to confirm completeness and compliance with internal standards.
Communicate with supervisors and team members through remote tools to clarify content requirements or resolve discrepancies.
Follow detailed instructions for formatting and text-based data organization.
Work independently to meet daily typing quotas and deadlines in a distraction-free remote workspace.
Prepare summaries, typed reports, and formatted documents for review by management or technical staff.
Handle confidential information securely and follow data-protection requirements.
Assist in ongoing improvements to data-entry workflows and documentation formatting processes.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business or office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a typist, transcriptionist, data entry clerk, or similar role — including experience in remote work.
Strong typing skills (60+ WPM preferred) with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with word-processing software, spreadsheets, and text-editing tools.
Ability to stay focused for extended periods while working in a remote environment.
Strong organization skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks without losing accuracy.
Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace.
