Location: New York, NY (Manhattan)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 shifts/week | 11.5 hours per shift (34.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $65 – $80 per hour
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity interventional cardiology unit in Manhattan. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced technical skills, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty procedures, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions
Monitor and document patient hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms during invasive procedures
Administer and monitor conscious sedation per established protocols
Respond rapidly to cardiac emergencies and procedural complications using ACLS standards
Perform advanced IV starts, phlebotomy, and manage arterial and venous access lines
Deliver pre- and post-procedure nursing care, including patient preparation, recovery monitoring, sheath removal, and access site assessment
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (required)
Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU or Emergency Department)
Strong proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
Education & Licensure
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program
Active New York State RN License
Ability to provide Primary Source Verification via NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
Certifications
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
