Accountant/Business Manager

Phillips Forest Products / Phillips Lumber Mill / The Forest Store

The Accounts Receivable position will be responsible for day-to-day accounts receivable functions for Phillips Forest Products. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Posting Daily Sales Receipts and daily credit card receipts.
• Invoice all charge customer in a timely matter.
• Maintain all customer credit applications and maintain customer relations.
• Handle Tax Exemption certificate for non-taxable customers.
• Handle weekly collection calls.
• Daily runs to Post Office and Bank.
• Submit weekly A/R report to management.
• Creating and sending monthly statements.
• Cross train in Accounts Payable.
• Manage office supplies.
• Filing and scanning documents.
• Assist with miscellaneous accounting and clerical functions.

Qualifications:

• Some experience is required, an Associate's degree is preferred.
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Goal-oriented self-starter who will thrive in an expanding work environment.
• Effective problem-solving and management skills.
