Summary

We are seeking an Accessibility Designer to join our Accessible Home Modifications team. In this role, you will assess individuals functional abilities, evaluate home environments, and recommend ADA-compliant modifications that support safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. This position combines assessment, design, customer consultation, and proposal developmentwhile working directly with individuals with disabilities, older adults, families, and referral partners.

The Accessibility Designers responsibilities are:

• Conduct in-home evaluations and review medical documentation to identify accessibility needs.
• Measure and assess homes for ADA compliance, safety concerns, and structural issues.
• Develop written recommendations, drawings, and modification proposals.
• Present solutions to customers and funding sources; negotiating pricing and close contracts.
• Maintain organized documentation and manage proposal production.
• Build relationships with service coordinators and referral partners.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred, or 2+ years of experience in the construction field or in a related industry. Strong writing ability required, with ability to produce analytical evaluations of customer functioning ability and fully justified recommendations
